The following is a contribution to the AmigosofDave blog written by a good friend of David's. Thanks Tim and Team at Morrison Media.
A while back, we ran a raffle to raise funds for our friend Dave Montoya.
For those who haven’t had the pleasure, Dave’s an awesome young bloke. He’s a gifted artist and photographer who worked for a number of years as a graphic designer at Morrison Media. He’s a keen surfer, loves all things natural and has led the healthiest of lifestyles.
For the last three (or is it four now?) years, Dave’s been living with a Brain Tumor. He’s undergone two operations, had treatment here and in the USA, and is now having further treatment at the Burzynski Clinic in Houston, Texas. Dave’s return home in July sees him continuing treatment with the support of his friends and family here in Australia.
Dave’s time in the US this year has been tough on him, his family and his financial situation.
More funds are needed for Dave to continue treatment, and to help him pay life’s ongoing bills and expenses.
That’s why Dave’s amigos are gonna run another raffle! The last one helped Dave immeasurably.
